In music

Apotheosis in music refers to the appearance of a theme in grand or exalted form. It represents the musical equivalent of the apotheosis genre in visual art, especially where the theme is connected in some way with historical persons or dramatic characters. When crowning the end of a large-scale work the apotheosis functions as a peroration, following an analogy with the art of rhetoric.

Quantum Alchemy & Emotional Intelligence

The album “Apotheosis” is a musically conceptual project/experiment that takes a listener through a waking life from sleep to waking consciousness. This process is achieved with a linear tempo change coinciding with the effects of brain wave frequencies on the human mind and the specific arrhythmia’s of the human heart. Below we have a systematic breakdown of the quantum alchemy and emotional intelligence of “Apotheosis”.

ABOUT DERON:

With a ten-year history of classical and jazz training in piano, tenor saxophone, guitar, degrees in Recording Arts and Entertainment Business, DeRon has a unique appreciation for the artistry of music. However, this background merely laid the foundation for what would DeRon become. With early professional production in the mid nineties, he was drafted into the hip-hop and R&B scene. His production received underground recognition across the states; nevertheless this was not the true road DeRon wanted take. While the minor success and appreciation was gratifying, DeRon felt the limits of compromising his artistry for a commercial sound.

In an attempt to show how truly universal music could be, DeRon offered the independent scene his first true solo effort in 2001 under the alias of Azariah. The album was entitled The Healing. It was an exotic mixture of jazz, rock, and world music. This recording was the maverick for the eclectic, electric, experimental sound that DeRon now likes to call “ocean music”.

After recording various projects under a mixture of monikers such as Azariah, Empathy In Love, Modern Kitten Theory, DJ Iceberg, Cure for Cancer, and a host of others, DeRon finally took off his mask and revealed his true talents with his project, The Ministry of You in 2004.

Five years later, the year 2009, DeRon brings us the new musical journey Apotheosis. Featuring high-profile guest vocalists and scientific musical enlightenment, DeRon classifies the project as a ‘jazzy, downtempo romantic rock’ experience. Apotheosis is a collection of revolutionary loves. The music will change your state of consciousness, or it will do nothing at all. Not everyone is ready for a musical journey like this.
